About myself:
My name is Viktoria Korzeniewski, Viki for short. I am passionate about working with people and teaching them new skills in a fun and engaging way. I connect easily with children having over 10 years experience as a private tutor from pre-schoolers to matriculants. I take great pleasure watching an individual advance or grow in a skill that I personally helped them develop.
I have a Bsc Honours degree in Psychology and am a qualified Psychometrist registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa. I am able to assist children with Mathematics, school readiness, subject choice and career guidance. I am also a qualified reading therapist through Read For Africa and can therefore assess people’s reading and spelling skills and intervene where necessary. I have a special interest in helping children with disabilities.
I enjoy new challenges and strive to deliver the best value to my clients through a friendly and professional work ethic.

The name "CogniStance"
The name CogniStance is made up of the words Cognisance meaning “knowledge of” and Stance which means “Position of”.
Since I am working within the psychological realm and testing a person’s abilities, personality, values and behaviour, giving them guidance on what subjects to choose or which career to pursue for instance, I thought the name was very applicable. Placing the C and S above each other made me think of a seahorse design. Research shows that seahorses often swim in pairs holding each other by their tails. This for me is symbolic as it represents the one horse guiding the other, just what I do in my profession.
